In-Home, In-Depth Consultations
Sometimes a short trip to your family veterinarian isn’t enough to address the concerns you have about your cat. Whether it is behavioral concerns affecting your sanity at home, or concerns for your cat’s quality of life, Cattitude provides the personalized care that only a mobile veterinarian can provide.
Dr. Jackie Treat of Cattitude travels to your home for an in depth consultation so that your story and challenges can be fully understood. By being in your home, she is able to see you and your cat in your normal environment, to understand and consult on the full scope of your concerns, and best identify opportunities for resolution.
Why a Veterinarian?
Behavioral issues can be an expression of both physical and/or mental health. In order to best support you and your cat, a full assessment of both these components is paramount. All consultations include a thorough physical exam and health assessment.
Dr. Jackie Treat partners with your regular veterinarian to ensure no stone is left unturned. Many behavioral consulting services are training based and are not led by a practicing veterinarian. While training can be an important component to behavior modification, it is not the sole contributor to success, especially when it comes to cats.
As a veterinarian, Dr. Jackie Treat is able to diagnose and facilitate the treatment of medical conditions which contribute to behavioral changes. The goal of Cattitude is not to provide a quick piece of advice or medication, but to fully explore your concerns and develop a detailed plan for success.
