About
  • Cattitude

Hi! I’m Dr. Treat.

Yes, that’s really my last name 🙂 I have been a cat lover my entire life – cat fanatic may be more accurate if we’re being honest.

I graduated from the WSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Prior to that I worked as a veterinary assistant for 10 years. Prior to that – I spent a lot of time with cats, whether at home (we had 8 cats growing up) or volunteering.

I say all of this because I believe my history has led to the heart of Cattitude, which is an individualized approach to your cat’s health and wellbeing.

There’s No Cookie Cutter Solution

There is no cookie cutter solution to behavior and wellness. Each home and family is different, each cat’s genetic history and origin story is different.

Cats can be inherently difficult to understand, and very difficult to endure if you get on their bad-side.

By understanding your personal story AND your cat’s personal story, I believe I can help you achieve a harmonious and fulfilling life with them.

An Honest Prognosis

I will always be honest with you about the prognosis of a condition.

I will always let you know what ALL of the options are so that you can make an informed decision on what the right options are for you and your cat individually.

I will always continue to research and improve my skill sets and will be honest about what I don’t know.

FearFree Certified

I am FearFree certified, Feline Practitioner certified, and regularly attend and seek out continued education in the world of feline behavior and wellness.

I truly can’t wait to meet you and your cat. Forming meaningful relationships with people, and helping cats live happier lives is the bread and butter of my own life.
