In-Home Consultations & Follow-Ups
In-Home Consultations
Dr. Jackie Treat of Cattitude travels to your home for an in depth consultation so that your story and challenges can be fully understood.
By being in your home, she is able to see you and your cat in your normal environment, to understand and consult on the full scope of your concerns, and best identify opportunities for resolution.
Physical
Exam
A thorough physical health assessment will be performed. Exams may look different depending on your cat’s temperament. Dr. Treat will discuss all findings with you, and may make some medical recommendations. In addition to this, your cat’s previous veterinary records will be requested and reviewed.
Environmental Assessment
Dr. Treat will tour your home to assess your cat’s environment. Potential stressors, or obstacles may be identified and opportunities discussed. Please try to keep the home in whatever state is normal for your family and your cat, there is certainly no judgement! We will have the best chance of success if we can openly discuss all of the things that make you and your cat’s home, and relationship unique.
Behavior & Wellness Consultation
Initial findings and recommendations will be discussed. Together we will brainstorm on what ideas seem realistic, and what may be limiting for your family. Dr. Treat may make medical recommendations such as diagnostics or medications. Together, we will tailor a plan that works best for you and your family and set achievable goals for your cat. We will discuss how we would like to follow up on your cat’s progress moving forward and can schedule check-ins as indicated.
Clinical Summary
A full write up will be sent within 1 week of your consultation reviewing the findings and recommendations made. This summary will also be shared with your cat’s regular veterinarian along with any medical recommendations made. Additional resources and recommendations not discussed in the consultation may be included to further support your success.

Video Call
30 minutes video consultation to thoroughly review patients progress and adjust care plan as needed. Includes a written summary of recommendations.
